Hi, I’m applying RD to Bowdoin and I know how selective it is, especially in the rd round, but i was wondering if there’s anything I can do before I submit the application to possibly increase my chances? in terms of anything they’re looking for in essays/activities etc. I love Bowdoin and would definitely attend if accepted but I’m trying to keep my expectations really low. by the way i have about 3.7-8 GPA at a prep school but not in hardest classes offered, 34 ACT (sending it). any help at all would be appreciated, i know this is a pretty vague question
PM me if you’re interested in learning more about ways to work to make your essay stand out more.
You’re a senior. The application is due pretty soon.
At this point, all you can really do is proofread the life out of your application-- as you should with all your applications-- to ensure there are no typos.
You are who you are-- there’s nothing you can do about the content of your application.
Then hit Submit.
@sadied89 Pm me. I also go to a prep school and got admitted to Bowdoin in their ED1 round. Maybe I can give you some advice?
