What are some scholarships/grants with deadlines in late July through August?
(preferably ones that don’t require any non-academic traits. e.g. being Jewish or living in a single-parent home)

Jack Kent Cooke is due Nov I think.
Nothing worth applying to, if I remember correctly. Coke and AXA usually open in August, but their deadlines are much later.
If you do end up applying to the big programs, feel free to PM with any questions you have. I won most of the bigger national programs I applied to last year.
@Madison85 Yes I did. I got some mediocre results. I thought that perhaps people here might know of some stuff that can’t easily be found with a quick search.
@mommdc Thanks, the 2015-2016 application doesn’t appear to be open yet, I’ll check it out when it is.
