AOG Gallery 37 is now posted

Lots of Executioners and Flying Tigers it appears. And oh goodie, they got to try out thier rain gear

At least I see a few smiles in the crowds this series…

I found two pictures on AOG of my son in a raincoat. In the first, he looks discouraged. In the second, he is smiling. It is the first smile I have seen on him in all of the photos I've found. It was good to see since he has always been such a positive happy guy.

the ponchos are among the worst smelling things in BCT. lol. I hated em.

That's exactly how he looks in the first picture - like something smells bad. ( :

HG - do the ponchos smell bad because they are new (i.e. that plasticy smell?) or because they were rolled up wet and stored away during the last BCT? LOL

Hornet, that's funny that you mention that about the ponchos. Back in the day when I was at USNA, the rain gear there also had the worse smell. I hate to say it, but it smelled like vomit. It wasn't because it was new, Dknightfam, it was just something inherent about it such that every time you broke it out to wear it, it smelled bad for awhile. Good to see some things haven't changed; regardless of which Service. :)

I think it is because it keeps getting rolled up wet, so mildews a bit. Nastiness.

GoNavy81 it was nice putting a name to the face. California rules in the Interceptors!
