First of, I am currently a sophomore taking Calculus. I have always gotten A's in my math classes until my current Calculus class. I have an 81 right now... So I am questioning if I should take AP AB Calc next year... I have talked to my current Calc teacher, who also is the AP Calc teacher (for both AB & BC). She said that I probably would do well (which means a High C or higher to her) in AP Calc. I just do not know if it would benefit me in my future, as I want to major in political science and then go to law school.

I have the option of either taking AP AB Calculus my junior year and then either AP BC Calculus or AP Statistics my senior year. However, I also have the option to take Probability and Statistics my junior year and then AP Statistics my senior year.

I feel like stats and then AP stats would just help me in the long run. However, I am pretty sure that all the Ivy and good schools (Wellelsey & Boston College) want to see AP AB Calc since I have been taking rigorous math classes since forever.... What would be the better option while taking into account my future and college?
