AP Advice

I'm starting my senior year this week, and I will be taking 3 APs first semester, vs. only 1 last year. I know that's quite a bit less than many people on CC, but I'm still kind of nervous about my AP science and language.

So, to all of you veteran CC AP students...any advice on staying on juggling multiple APs and getting good grades?

Never ever fall behind on work. You could try getting ahead, but I always found I didn’t want to make time for that.

Throughout the year, enforce what you’ve learned by taking 10 minutes to review old material. Especially if your subject is a memorizing-intensive labor.

Don’t worry. You have the ability, you just need to believe you can do it. Don’t let senioritis get to you, that’s all. XD

aaaah i’ve had senioritis since freshman year.

cut back on any addictions you have.

Make sure you get one of the review books in the beginning of the year. I like AP Achiever. So that you don’t forget what you learned, go over and highlight the review sections for chapters, make notecards, and just study old material in general.

Take A LOT of notes all the time - in class and at home. When I do assigned readings, it always helps a lot to take notes on it, even though it will take a little more time because in the long run the night before the aps all of your friends will be trying to reread a book and all you have to do is flip through your own notes. =]
