Hey guys,
I plan on taking the sat II bio next may or june.. I'd like the names of the AP books you guys used in school and the prep books you used for the sat II.. and tell me if they really helped and what you expect your AP or sat II scores to be or what they are. I dont plan on taking the ap test for bio because I am going to be taking it senior year(going to be a junior next year).. so i just want to be well prepared for the sat II bio.. any suggestions?

Cliffs for AP Bio is very good

If you're taking AP and SATII, you don't really need an SATii prep book as long as you take the SATII in May.

why not? is the one in may special?

no its just that if you go through cliff's you will be sufficiently prepared for sat2 as well. im actually using cliff's to prepare for my sat2 bio in october... of course you'll need to take practice tests from a different book. Just take whichever ones you can get your hands on I guess. CB is releasing a special book for sat2 bio in sept some time... that will be useful.

If you have a nice textbook (campbell) then a prep book is probably unnecessary. I used CliffsAP just for some of the section reviews and laboratory summaries, and apparently it paid off. I also used the Cliffs a bit to study for SAT II.

I got a 5 on the Biology AP Exam and a 770 on the SAT II.

oh im not taking AP bio in school but i was wondering if i should buy the AP bio book to prepare along with the sat II books..
