Biology AP and SAT II

I'm enrolled in Bio AP right now. I'm using CliffsAP Bio along with my school textbook. I also have Barron's SAT II Bio.

Should I...
1) Read Cliffs, Barron's, and whatever is assigned in the school textbook all at the same time, going at the pace of the class?
2) Read Cliffs and school textbook during the year, then study Barron's around SAT II time?
3) Read only the school textbook during the year, and study Cliffs and Barron's a few months before AP and SAT II test?

When I say "read textbook", I don't mean read through the whole thing. I just mean do all assignments and understand the concepts in class.

Also, since AP is in the beginning of May, should I take the SAT II in May or June? Would I need that extra month to study for SAT II after the AP exam?

Thanks for reading!

I'd say go for the third option, but I actually would recommend trying to read through your whole textbook, especially if it's Campbell's Biology. I did that and got a 5 on the AP and a 780 on the SAT II.

And take the SAT II the month you have the least work to do. If you've got several other APs, for instance, take it in June.

read the textbook, and then use cliffs and barrons as the exam approaches

Was it really necessary to post this under the SAT II -and- AP test topics, hehe?
