AP (and SAT II) Biology

Hey everyone. I'm trying to decide if I should take the AP Biology exam this May, and I was hoping you could give me some advice. I'm currently in an Honors Bio class which is a good class but does not entirely follow or cover the AP curriculum. My teacher says in the past lots of students have taken the AP Bio exam after the class and the majority have received 4s and 5s. I'm doing well in the class, but my main concern is that I will not have enough time to prepare for the AP exam because I'm also taking 3 other AP exams, including AP US History (which is very memory-intensive, like Bio...).

I am definitely taking the SAT II in Bio - probably in June unless I take the AP Bio exam in May (then I'd take the SAT II in May, too).

So, how difficult is the AP Bio exam, and what sort of preparation did you do for it? If I'm going to be prepping for the SAT II test eventually, should I just go ahead and take the AP and SAT II in May? Finally, if I do decide to take the AP Bio exam, prepping for that should be adequate prep for SAT II Bio, right?

Thanks so much! I really appreciate your help.

I recommend just buying Cliffs AP Bio, study it and you'll be fine. SAT II bio tends to ask more obsecure questions, so I recommend you either by PR or Barrons, although I think PR is a little better. Good Luck :)
