I can't decide whether to take AP Art History or AP English Literature next year (senior year)
...
any suggestions from people who have taken either or both courses??

I know both are a lot of reading too so would taking them at the same time be suicide? lol

(i'll reply to your most recent post if you reply to this)

what other courses will you be taking? I’m in art history right now (will take lit next year) and it’s a fairly awesome class. Of course, it would be infinitely funner if I had more time to really get into it. There is not a lot of reading in apah. Actually, there is zero reading, except to make little flashcards/notes with pictures for the images.

You should be able to manage both courses, assuming your other classes have decent workloads as well.

In all honesty, I doubt you will need AP Art History for college.
If you want to benefit from an AP class, I’d go with English Lit.

Are you an artist? If not, I see no use in choosing AP Art History, especially not over a class that will improve your overall reading/writing abilities. I’d go for AP Eng Lit a million times over-- but then again, if you’re really invested in the arts, it would make sense to take AP Art History.

Both, English will improve your writing and Art History will improve your interpreting.
…I wish AP Art History was offered at my school…
