Ap art history significance

Hi, I am taking 2 aps this year: world and art history. I am wondering if its worth the effort to take ap art history tho. I do not plan on doing anything with art and am not sure that I will receive credit for the course considering that I am probably going to major in science. The only reason I am honestly taking it is because it is an ap course. Well, yes it can be a little interesting, but thats not the major reason. For world, if I don't take take it, it would give off the message that I wasn't good enuf for the challenge. But ap art history is just an elective. So what do you think? Is it worth the effort to show colleges that I have another ap? If I don't take, by the time I graduate I would have 5-6 aps, art history would add one more if I do take it.

AP Art History is a lot of work and takes a lot of memorizing, from what I’ve heard. Overall it’s not a “joke” class as some people think.

AP Art History may fulfill art GE credit. I’m so happy I got of an art class in both high school and college (which I’m bad at) just by learning some of the history of it :)
