So last year i was an AP Scholar with Distinction but this year I dropped to AP Scholar with Honor. Am I still an AP scholar with Distinction? How should i tell colleges?
@ptclaws How do you know you dropped? I don’t think that they put the awards on the profile until mid July? Assuming you calculated yourself and received a 2 this year?
@LvMyKids2 You can calculate it based on the guidelines CollegeBoard posted. You need a 3.5 average for distinction (which i got last year) but I dropped this year.
Am I the first? I just never heard of anyone dropping an AP Award level.
The awards are given each year. So for last year you can put the award you received. For this year (2018) you put the award you received. I am sure you are not the first, but most probably move up.
