good idea or nah
nah. Pick one science. AP Bio and AP Chem are huge time sucks by virtue of being an AP plus the extensive labs (and lab reports) that accompany it.
Probably not a good idea.
My daughter is taking 2 AP sciences (Chem and Physics C) together with 4 other AP classes, but not APUSH. It is definitely doable, depending on student’s aptitude and time management skills.
At our kids’ school, they advise against even taking AP bio with APush, mainly due to the huge amount of reading. I think it depends on how quickly you read and retain, your strengths, and extracurricular commitments. It does sound like a lot.
Not the OP’s question. Physics C has fewer labs which makes it easier to double up with another science. Bio and Chem both have a ridiculous # of labs.
Of course for some (very very few) it is doable. But none of us know the OP’s abilities.
TERRIBLE IDEA unless you can get by with no sleep and dont mind your GPA falling into the tank.
In other words- dont.
