Ap bio key facts

so, each teacher has a theory about the most important thing to knowin bio...for example, in my class it was

"O2 is the final electron acceptor in cell respiration".

what's the one thing your teachers have been stressing all year?

You better know plants inside out. Last year’s exam was like AP Botany, and I can attest to that.

i do not remember too much about last year… it was my first ever ap exam, so i did not know all about raw score or anything, and i got a 5 on it.

i do remember there was very, very little on the evolution of animals though. i do remember a lot of plants though, but nothing specific. this means there probably won’t be as much on plants this year.

There is a thread dedicated to review, so you can see some of the review CCers are doing for AP bio

Not necessarily true - plants are a huge component of any AP Bio exam, check the breakdown in the Cliffnotes book, and the “need to know” topics.

You might want to focus on the phylum differences, like Cnidaria, and etc. Ecology is also very useful for FRQ, along with body systems. Nervous, circulatory (and any other system that is connected, like the endocrine), and muscles are very important.

looking back, i don’t know how i got a 5, i don’t remember any of it now. it seems like a lot of material.

good luck
