I need help deciding which one to take next year!! It's so hard to choose lol...
Yeah so next year I'll be a senior, and I don't know which one to take..Both of them look interesting, and I've heard the teachers who teach them are both good, and that both classes are really hard.

Which one do you guys recommend me taking???

where are all you people that you have these science courses? Here in New York, everything is focused on regents exams, which are state tests that you take as a final for each subject. So we don't have any options other than earth science, biology, chemistry, or physics, until senior year.

AP Bio is mostly molecular biology and not as much anatomy...so If you only want to learn about anatomy and human systems then don't take AP Bio. But I really get a lot out of the class and enjoy it, and if you're looking to go into a medical field, then AP Bio can give you somewhat of a good background for the future.

AP Bio has a shotgun approach to biology, covering many topics from molecular biology to structure and function of plants and animals to evolution and ecology. If you are only interested in physiology, stick with anatomy.

I took anatomy my sophomore year and am taking AP bio my junior year. This works well since several chapters of AP Bio (40-49 in Campbell) are straight anatomy, and I already know 80% of it. Also, the same teacher teaches both, which is nice.

AP Bio is a broad overview of Biology, and Anatomy is focused on, well, the human body. If you're equally interested in both, take AP Bio since it's weighted, and the AP designation looks pretty (this is assuming that AP Bio and Anatomy are of equal difficulty/workload).

Take AP Biology; you still get exposure to Anatomy topics in it (if your school uses Campbell's, you have a chapter dedicated to each of the major organ systems in great detail).

i go with AP Bio. you get the college credits and higher weighting. but of course if your more interested in anatomy, then by all means take it.

Anatomy is way more worth it. I think AP Bio doesn't go as indepth in the aspects of life (ie: muscular system, digestive, urinary, etc.) and its way more informative than the structure of a plant. I seriously taught myself the AP bio test one year after ap bio with cliffs ap biology..
