AP bio or AP chem

right now im a jr in high school and i need to decide what i should take for senior classes and i want to become a doctor in the future
so i need some advice of which class i should take either ap bio or ap chem
and which class is easier ( not the final ap test but the class itself ) which class itself is easier? and whats the workload? btw i never took any honors classes before. and i aced both college prep chem and biology

It depends on the teacher.

What other classes will you take? Where are your strengths? AP Bio is lots of memorizing, whereas AP Chem is more applications. Both are manageable (at my school at least).

If you’re basing your decision on “which class is easier”, then you’re taking the wrong approach and the wrong mindset.

If you’re considering a career as a doctor, I suggest AP Bio.

im going to be taking precalc, physics, french 4 honors, english 12, and thats about it .

When people tell you that AP Biology only involves memorizing, they’re completely incorrect. You can pass with pure memorization, but you’ll NEVER get an A with just that. There’s a lot of conceptualization involved. And there’s a lot of memorization involved in AP Chemistry as well, just not as much. So this is the more accurate way of seeing things:

AP Biology: Hard Memorization & Conceptualization
AP Chemistry: Light Memorization & Application
