Does anyone know how AP and SAT II bio compare as far as difficulty?

yeah AP is harder. i got a 5 on it and 800 on bio e/m, but neither are too bad if you study.

for some people.....biomaster

which prep books did you use for sat bio, biomaster?

AP and SAT II are a bit different in the format of questions and the types that they ask you, since many can still get a decent score on the SATII after a bio honors class.

APs are said to be much harder, and I agree, since its much more tightly focused on direct AP material.

AP Bio: 5 Sophomore year. 800 M sophomore, 800 E junior.

wow, i've never heard of an 800 on E and 800 on M. they still only count as one test rite? but that's still quite an accomplishment

Thanks! But I know some other members on this forum with the same scores, some at even a higher percentage o.O :)

AP questions are at a college-level, whereas SAT II ques. are high school levelled.

However, I got a 5 on the AP test, and only a 670 on the bio test (which shocked me personally because my bio teacher told me that the SAT II was a piece of cake)

my suggestion: get a review book for ap bio (cliffs is the best)

Years ago, when the SAT only had two sections, I got a 4 on the AP Bio test (those were my sleep through class days) and a 700 on the SAT II.

Meh.
