But the Dresophila one was asked last year, wasnt it, minus the Chi square. right?

yeah you’re right
[AP: Biology](<a href=“AP Biology Exam – AP Students | College Board”>AP Biology Exam – AP Students | College Board)

so then I really don’t think(HOPE) they’d do a chi square frq

So what other labs could it be on? Which ones haven’t they covered recently?

I hope its hardy weinberg, I can handle that

O_o

What’s a chi square? ugh! I REALLY hope it’s not that, because that is the first time I have ever even heard of that!

I heard that they did a big genetics/dna one last year, so my teacher predicted it’s probably gonna be an evolution one.

I am seriously screwed on this!

I can do really well on the multiple choice (I got the 4th highest in between the two classes, and we were all really close on our amount correct) I got 72/100 on the practice MC, but I suck at the frq’s, because I can never say anything specific.

WOO! Took a CliffsNotes practice test and got a 5. I got lucky with those FRQs, though. 58 MC right but 9/8/8/8 on the essays. There are two main things I haven’t learned yet (self-studying): Plant structure and the Labs. Could someone link me to the labs? Should I go find some videos line Bozeman on YT about plant structure or is the CliffsNotes chapter much better?

Woo! Just defining the crap in the question gives you random points. LOVE it.

I would love an evolution, ecology, and/or chi squared question (I took stats last year. cheaa). Meiosis/Mitosis and photosynthesis/respiration are also welcomed, but I hope hope hope there’s nothing with phylogenic trees, cell signaling (!!!), and transcription/dna stuff, and yeah. -____-

What about the transpiration lab? and then, maybe it will do with water transport?

I don’t know if anyone else heard about this, but my teacher told me that collegeboard stopped doing Chi-squared analysis for their labs starting awhile ago. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks. (My teacher has taught for 35+ years)

Oh that would suck because lots of classes don’t cover the transpiration

@aj39vn23cf2 At this point, you should probably go on YT and check out bozeman for the labs, because reading the book may be too long. But plant structure… Hmm, I’d read the book for that one, party because I don’t think bozeman has videos on plant structure. Make sure you know the plant hormones too, they come up a lot.

Hey guys, sorry about the 2008 Exam, it was in a password protected PDF, don’t remember the password. And btw, I hope to God there isn’t a chi squared FRQ

@Supergrover, the cell signaling stuff was asked last year, right?

Try the password “APPLE” , just wild guess but yeah.

Would you guys reccomend learning the parts of the brain and what they do
(i.e: medulla oblongata, hyopthalamus, amygdala, cerebrum, corpus collusum)?

There will probably never be a “parts of the brain” frq…
knowing hormones and regulation has been one though (and the mechanisms that control them - negative feedback)

what about something on classification? My teacher has a feeling one of the essay questions will be on ecology.

I don’t think that’s really that important but just remember these generic definitions:
Medulla Oblongata: involuntary functions; breathing heart beat, etc.
Hypothalamus: Regulation of pituitary gland…(Hormonal Gland)
Corpus Callosum: Bridge that connects two hemispheres of the brain
Cerebrum: Most advanced part, reading comprehension, mathematical ability, mostly conscious functions, decision making.

What about the multiple choice? Is there usually 1-2 questions on parts of the brain?

“biodiversity”/classification wise (unit 5 in campbell 8) is never a that major of a topic, my teacher did not even go over that ENTIRE unit, because she says AT MOST there are usually 4-5 MC questions about that…deff not a major theme in the ciriculum/AP exam.
