I’m going to bed now. 7 hours of sleep sounds like a reasonable number for me.

Good luck tomorrow, everyone!(:
Hopefully our studying pays off in the form of a 4 or a 5 in July!!

nitrogen/phosphours/carbon cycles

Biogeochemical cycles just refers to the water cycle, nitrogen cyle, phosphorous cycle, etc.

Whooooot
our teacher literally taught us nothing.
studying with cliffsap but don’t know if that’s going to help at this point.

"if you go over a short sat2 bio book, it will more than cover enough material for a 5. "
^ this true? b/c my PR SAT2 book was not even CLOSE to covering the depth of what I’m going over now with my cliffsap

Just please, please, please no plant frqsss…

i have the 2002 exam email me your email, my email adress is sharon1515@ymail,com and i will send it to you!
GOOD LUCH
WE ALL NEED IT
SHARON

hmm, I know the carbon cycle, but nitrogen and phosphorus? yeah, I’ll probably have to look into that. hah -____-

Nitrogen is very important; phosphorous just know it doesn’t enter the atmosphere (except as particulates…)

Any good websites for book notes, and what review book is good?

Good luck to everyone! Like some have said, even if you study all night and into the morning, it’s not gonna help you one bit when you’re falling asleep over your test.

Gonna read Anna Karenina for a little bit and be asleep by 11 :P

Good luck to everyone again!

@Amanravi: I don’t know why you would be asking that right now, I don’t know where you’d get a book this late…

Google bosemanbiology! HIS VIDEOS ARE LIFESAVERS!

just took the sparknotes online test and got a 5, so im feeling pretty good! Just have to study animal behavior and ecology, and its off to bed. good luck tomorrow everyone!

good luck everyone! :)

hopin for a 5, happy with a 4:)

Do I need to know the accomplishments and writings of Lyell, Cuvier, Lamarck, etc?

toystory, you probably do. i think this is what each did. cuvier-catastrophism. lamark-you can change your traits, like how a giraffe stretches its head, and lyell was a geologist

Alright, I’m headed to bed- good luck tomorrow everyone!

Lamarck came up with the Law of Use and Disuse, which holds that if an organism uses a particular part of its body more often it will become longer/stronger/bigger/whatever, and if it doesn’t use it as much it’ll become smaller/shorter/whatever. He also came up with the Law of Acquired Characteristics, which holds that whatever happens via the Law of Use and Disuse will be passed down to offspring.

Law of U&D is true only for a few things (e.g. muscles), Law of AC isn’t true at all, neither have anything to do with Darwin’s theory of evolution (saw an MC question on that recently).

1 AM here in Hawaii.

I should be seeing the first batch of replies from the test an hour or two before my test lol

Got my baggie of caffeine pills ready to go, and I’m somewhat studied out (I’m on the verge of not caring and somewhat caring…)
Five hours of sleep is somewhat normal for me, and nodding off is something that caffeine pills can fix. (Nodded off during part 1 of Calc AB test, but I quickly got rid of that with 400mg caffeine)

Good luck everyone!

i’m about to take the test in 1.5 hours…
well, here goes nothing…literally.

good luck everyone!
