You think so? Imo they don’t cover nearly enough for GENERAL bio
A shame, this is late, but the grid ins were really easy. No hardy wineberg, chi squared, water potential. Only simple maths,finished all of them in 2 minutes.
@robotseatcookies We prepared so much for the harder math that I started to overthink the grid-ins on the AP exam. College board needs to give us hints of what is going to be on the AP exam; we wasted our time studying for the unnecessary content causing even the easy content to be confusing.
@robotseatcookies @AnniiT I think there were different tests because I had both hardy weinberg and chi-squared problems…
Intensely studying Campbell’s giant book was a complete waste of time lol…
@vmiller7723 Lol well since teachers prepared you for it, it would be better to have those questions on the test, whereas easier ones made me overthink the process of obtaining an answer.
@AnniiT true but it took up a lot of time and I didn’t finish the MC section
@vmiller7723 Well I didn’t even finish the MC, even with the easy grid ins. The questions weren’t as specific.
I’m so sick of this long wait. I bet our scores are sitting in their database and they’re just waiting to the date they announced to release them.
@Collegewhat They don’t actually have them done as of june 19, 2 am because Trevor Packer would have tweeted that out. He generally tweets out generic results each year.
Trevor has spoken!
2015 AP Biology scores:
5: 6.2%;
4: 22%;
3: 35.9%;
2: 27.6%;
1: 8.3%.
wow those are Not bad odds!
I sincerely cannot tell if you are being sarcastic or not but I see a dismal percentage of 5’s. It’s almost anxiety-inducing.
It’s a slight drop of 0.2% in 5s from last year, but nothing compared to the first year the test was introduced where it was about 5% 5s @spherescholar
Idc if I didn’t get a 5, at least I got 780 on the BIO SAT II
Congrats! I bet you got a 5 if you did that well!
I wish my college took SAT IIs for credit, or even CLEP. Getting credit for bio would make my life sooo much easier as a double-major.
Hi I’m a newbie to CC. I’m hoping for a 5 on AP Bio; to estimate my score I’m sure I got around 57+\69 on the MCQ. However, I left the 4th FRQ completely blank on accident and I don’t know if the rest of my answers were solid enough. The 6.2% is slightly discouraging. Do you think I have a shot? I’ve been monitoring this thread since May and ultimately thought that I got most of those answers right although I was unsure how part 2 on Q5 went. I said that the light had to be able to permeate the stem cells and cells would need to be able to communicate. Eh. And I think I did well on the rest all my answers for those matched those of yours on the thread. Also did you hear that 70% of testers got 0 on Q7?
I need to pull a 30/41 on the FRQ if I do how I think I did on the MCQ but that was a lot easier.
And do you reccommend taking the SAT Subject Test? I pulled an A all year (the only one in the class I believe), and was probably the one with the target on his back. My quarter grades ranged from a 94-98, and my teacher was a real toughie who taught to the old curriculum. I studied using Barron’s and collegeboard materials. How do I study for the SATii?
By communicate I mean signal hormone release (auxins) sry for the 3 parter my anxiety is killing me: even though my 6 AP summer assignments are what I should be focusing on.
And to elucidate, I mean the only one to get an A all year for every quarter; not to sound pedantic. I also took AP World and AP Psych.
