AP Biology & AP Chemistry

take both at the same time!! im doing that right now and i was originally worried about the work load...much like you are now. but honestly, its not bad at all. my chem teacher is great so i never have much work in that class as long as i understand it. the thing with chem is if you're not a math person it is a little difficult to catch on. but bio is simply memorization...although if you basically understand it the memorization is a lot easier in my opinion.

another plus of taking both at the same time is there is somewhat of an overlap. ive heard of kids who had buffer questions on teh bio ap exam and used ap chem to help them out. stuff like that can make a difference. the work load, in my opinion, is not bad at all and if you're a committed student you should have no problem.

i'm not a chemistry person so i dropped it for ap stats, which i believe has been a good decision so far. i like bio more and chem seemed to me more of a math person kind of class. on the class profile thing that we choose to sign up for classes, it said it was for someone who was considering majoring in math or chem.

Had AP bio last yr, was not bad - just memorization,

Chem is a lot of math, ranging from simple algebra to application of calculus topics in chemical kinetics (doing that right now).

Oh yea, no prior calculus knowledge required..lol

In my school, Chem is harder for people in terms of understanding the material, and Bio IS AP Memorization...along with a lot of busy work. Take both at the same time, if you can handle it. And if you are good with sciences you shouldn't have a problem at all.
