I heard the bio exam changed, but I got a Barron's book before the change happened. What exactly are the changes? And are the Barron's AP model exams accurate?

bumpity

Apparently the new exam is focused more on interpretation and reasoning than basic memorization of facts. I hope the barron’s ap model exams are accurate cause I’m using them :P

I’m pretty sure there is a released practice exam somewhere that you could do.

But anyways, I took it last year, and if you ever took the ACT, most of the mc questions on the AP bio test are like that, just much harder.

And make sure you know all the “big ideas” on collegeboard, beacuse several of them are sure to show up on the fr. And also, know the calculations. They’re not too difficult, so if you know them (especially Chi square!), it’s basically free points.

@satman1111: other than X², what other calculations do I have to know?

hardy weinberg

@TeamRocketGrunt That’s literally the only math in the entire course, aside from multiplying fractions from punnett squares. Hardly a thing to complain about.
