Well, as of this moment, my school doesn't offer AP Bio. Seeing that I want to pursue the medical field in college, it was only natural for me to see if the school could offer AP Bio, and it worked.

I got ~500 students to petition and the school will finally offer AP Bio and AP Chem next year.

my question is, how hard is AP Bio? what does it cover, like general subjects?
ditto with AP Chem

I'm not speaking from experience, just what I have heard from friends. Bio is a lot of reading and memorizing. Chemistry has more math and problem solving while physics is almost all math and problem solving. People usually say at my school that the bio test is the easiest ap test. If your going for med, then I guess definitely recommend you take it.

lol ap chem scares me.
especially with our whack teacher.
last year, only 1 person scored a 5 on the AP chem test at my school because she did independent studies.

i've had friends score 5's on all the other tests and get a 1 on Chem. lol

I think you have a great opportunity to take AP Chem before AP Bio, which I think is atypical in most high schools that offer both. AP Chem achieves a good balance between rather abstract concepts and mathematical utility. It will make you a stronger thinker and give you a lot of background in the chemistry behind biology (and to certain areas of physics).

While AP Chem might not come as easily to some, a little bit of effort and a little extension of problem solving skills will pay off. I see a clear advantage in taking AP Chem before AP Bio and AP Physics but I cannot say the same for the other two scenarios.
