So I’ve talked to my teachers in each subject, and my honors bio teacher told me to take AP bio next year. I’m trying to choose between AP Environmental Science and AP Bio for next year (I’ll also be taking AP Psych and AP English Lang). Could someone give me the major differences in AP Bio and AP Environmental Science? Need to choose in next week or so. Thanks!
Why not take both? I took AP Bio and APES during junior year, but I would pick APES over Bio any day. The reason why I didn’t like AP Bio that much was that my regular Bio experience wasn’t very good and because of this, I struggled through AP Bio and didn’t bother revising stuff either. Yes, it was completely my fault. I didn’t do too well on the AP test, and a few of my friends and I found the test relatively hard. But don’t let my experience demotivates you from taking the class. If you feel like Bio is your thing, I would say go for it. You mentioned that you took Honors Bio so you have a very steady foundation and probably do well in the class. On the other hand, my APES experience was awesome. My teacher was good, and I passed the AP exam with barely any studying even though the average score for the APES test is really low. Most of the lessons just clicks to me. Well, this is my personal experience with both of the classes. If you had to pick one, I would go with APES, but it’s your own schedule, pick the class that you would enjoy and do well on.
APES is easier than AP Biology. I’ve taken over 12 AP Classes, and not gonna lie, AP Biology was a struggle for me. I managed to pull an A both semesters, but it came with a lot of stress and frustration. If you like Biology and want to go more in depth, take the course.
If I were you, I would take APEC since you seem to already have a pretty rigorous schedule. Then take AP Biology as a senior

@peachypo101 I want to do that, but our AP Bio teacher really wants us to take Honors Anatomy as a junior for a pre req. I am not taking Honors Anatomy at all, so I am hoping for my APES teacher to let me take AP Bio my senior year.
If I do take APES next year.
