So next year I will be a senior, and I am stuck between deciding on whether I should take APES or AP Bio as both have their pluses.
I have taken biology and chemistry already and I enjoyed biology and I got around a 93 in the class freshmen year.
However I am thinking of taking APES next year because it is supposed to be a pretty easy class compared to most AP standards and I will have a lot of other AP classes next year and APES does sound interesting to me.
Now my reasons for taking AP Bio would be mainly because it is more academically rigorous and colleges would probably prefer that over APES. So just tell me some of your guys' suggestions.
Thankyou

Well more colleges give credit for AP Bio than APES if your looking at that.

AP Bio because you’ll learn a LOT more stuff than APES.

There are many students with 1’s and 2’s in APES because they took it as the “easier” class. If you did well in chemistry and bio, and like bio, AP Bio is the way to go.

If you are going to take one of them just for the credit: take APES. It is VERY easy.
If you want to challenge yourself and prepare yourself for college courses: take AP BIO.
The difficulty of AP BIO depends on your study skills and your teacher. If you have REALLY GOOD studying skills, a good teacher, a passion for BIO, go with AP BIO.

I agree, AP Bio is an eye-opening course. I loved it and it actually made me like bio (gasp) and want to study it further in college. The labs are quite interesting, the course material is challenging, but overall the course allows you to answer a lot of questions about life in general. Take it!

Thankyou so much guys!
