AP Calc BC credit?

<p>If we get a 5 on the AP Calc BC, does the AB subscore help we skip Calc I in college or does it depend on the school or can we not?</p>

<p>It depends on the college. Some schools give credit for BC score only or AB score only. I know MIT doesn’t give AB subscore credit, but a subscore of 4 or 5 places a student in a more advanced version of calculus I.</p>

<p>So, does that mean that for many schools that I have to also take the AB test to skip Calc I?</p>

<p>Yeah it depends. Maybe some top-tier school does not look at AB subscore or AB itself.</p>
