ap calc bc?

Eloquence: Math 104

crashingwaves (or other current students): Do I need close to 100% to pass the placement test? Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I've honestly no idea about the American grading system or what percentage usually means "pass" :/

edit: uh theoneo was quicker :)

You definitely do not need 100%! I think it probably more around 65-70%...but I am not certain.

I'm currently planning to go further into Math, so I'm probably just gonna end up taking 104 to get a better grip on the simpler stuff =P

what if you took NO ap math courses in high school? my school offers honors calc, ap calc ab and ap calc bc......I was in the honors calculus, the "dumb math class" as they called it hahaha. did pretty well, though, an A average in that class. so what do I take? math 103 or 104? I was thinking of just playing it safe and taking 103 haha.

Hey

I have a question about calc courses for med school. Some med schools require two semesters of calculus. Will math 103 and 104 satisfy this or will I have to take math 114. I know for a fact that med schools don't require multi variable calc, which is what math 114 covers.
