AP Calculus AB 2013 Thread

Oh yeah I remember doing something like that.

I got 16 * like hands down for that one, no way it was over. How did you get 16/pi? And for the piano I got .8(M-P) as an educated guess. Any other best guesses? The rate is proportional to M-P…

For the 3rd free response, what units did you put for part c? It was about coffee dripping into a pot or something and c basically asked you to find the average value.

Ounces, 10.1 was what I got.

I got like 11.6 but I wasn’t sure about that one.
I got 16/pi because I divided by the derivative of the inside of that cos function which was like (1\4)*pi I think…

For the non calculator one that you were asked to find area, did you guys get 4/pi-4/3 ?

I got 16/pi - 4/3

For the g(x) =f(x) 3 question I got 0 but I keep reading that everyone got 75 on it which is freaking me out cause didn’t you have to take the derivative of the inside at f(3) which was 0?

Did anyone else have the one where you revolved it around x=1 for one frq

I got 60 something for that one but I know it was wrong because I had no idea how to do it and I was running out of time. And no jattkc, that doesn’t ring a bell.

For the last frq that said to find c. I found the antiderivative in that from put i forgot to put the integral sign for the original equation. Will they count off?

I think you had a different test than us mine said to revolve around y=5 and for the last free response maybe I read it wrong… But mine said to find the particular solution. Are you international? Maybe that’s it

I had one that was revolved around y=4.

And the last FRQ said find the particular solution.

No College Board has multiple tests (at least this year it does, maybe just another of their security feature they have implemented)

For those who are worried about their grade use this site:www.APpass.com

It won’t be exact for this years score but it will be darn close

for number 87 on the mc (i think), the one where you had f’ and had to pick the graph of f, was it the one with the cusp at 5 or asymptote at 5?

I am sooooo scared! And you’ll ain’t helping either!
I found the FRQ’s insanely hard.
What do you’ll think the curve will be like.
I would love a 4, Around 50+ for a 4? On 108?

@etisa

It was the cusp. If it was the asymptote, the asymptote would also transfer over to the derivative graph as well.

forgot what the last mc was, but was the answer -20? im scared i made a careless mistake :frowning: :(

Yep it was -20.

^ Do you remember what the question was?
