***AP Calculus AB 2015-2016 Thread***

@YoohooAddict I’m about a 35ish-45ish with that same plus or minus two (actual score prediction for me on the FRQ (37-43/54–so a median 40 probably) so that’s at a median 41/54 for you. My personal predictions had more range btw. And I think I got like 33-37/45 on the MCQ.

Once again, this is only my opinion. Do not take it as a final call, just comparing what I’ve seen this is where we both fall–at 5s. I personally stray from calculating scores and chances mostly because I do not think an arbitrary user like myself can predict another’s performance without actually knowing them. But I am glad to help.

Adding up the scores you gave, my possible range is between 39 and 43. +/- points yields: 37-45. Median is 41/54 which isn’t too bad. I know for sure I got 30+ on mcqs so I think I have a decent shot at a 5 lol. Good luck to both of us! @silverhawk5

@Taemin So scores are out?

The tests have been scored but not viewable to the students yet. These are the percentage of scores this year in the U.S. and on there he also says which FRQs students did best and worst on.

Hey for UCLA, I saw the AP credit page and it says that if you pass the calculus test with a certain score you get credit for MATH 31A. So does that mean if I got a 5 on the Calculus AB exam then I could skip 31A and begin with 31B?

Here’s the link to the AP credit page for y’all who want to see it: http://www.admission.ucla.edu/Prospect/APCreditLS.htm

@Tajmahal From what I understand, that’s correct.

@PhilipL After looking further into this, I actually skip math 3a and go into math 3b.

Georgia Tech posted ours, got a 5.

It seems some schools have the scores out and others don’t. My school, of course, is one who hasn’t posted them yet. :frowning:

Won’t view scores till July 7… :frowning:

@YoohooAddict I got a 5! You must be a shoo in.

Got a 5 on the test! I’m so excited about skipping math3A at UCLA. Go Bruins!

@YoohooAddict hey bro i got a 5 in my ap cal i still can’t believe it. i am shocked because i was only hoping to passing it.

Got a 5 :slight_smile:

Congrats guys on the 5s.
@desiboy1998 @silverhawk5 Lol, hopefully you’re right xd! Gotta wait till July 7th.

Hi guys, so I took AP Calculus AB as a sophomore and got a 4…
Considering that I kept a good grade (over 95) throughout the year, it’s a bit disappointing…
So, is a 4 on calc AB a good score?

@aegis400 yes, it’s a good score!!

I got a 5! Which is crazy bc I got a C- in the class first semester and a B second semester. I wasn’t expecting this at all. Was hoping for above a 3 but praying for a 4.

So somehow I got a 5 on this exam…

I got a 5 lol
