AP Calculus AB/BC and Math SAT II IC/IIC

What is the difference between AP Calculus AB/BC and the math SAT II IC/IIC? Is there one test that colleges prefer over another? Thanks for your help!

AP calc BC is harder than AP calc AB
Math level 2 is more advanced than math level 1.

Colleges tend to prefer the harder exam, however, a good score on the easier exam is viewed as better than a bad score on the harder exam.

Thank you for the info!

Does anyone know what course leads to AP Calculus BC? Right now, I'm taking Honors Pre-calculus. Does that generally lead to the AB Calc?

Yes that course does lead to Calc AB. What textbook are you using for your Honors Pre-Calculus and whats the author?

After pre-cal, you can take either one. BC contains AB material and more.

It's called Precalculus Enhanced with Graphing Utilities (3rd Edition) by Michael Sullivan. The picture is small, but it's the only one I found of the book:
