<p>Is it enough to only have taken AP Calc AB if I am applying to competitive engineering programs, or will I be overlooked if most students have at least taken BC? My high school doesn't offer anything higher than AB (other than AP Stats). </p>
<p>It will not hurt you if your school does not offer BC. You have taken the most rigorous course that your school offers.</p>
<p>It is okay with AP Calc AB. Many freshmen in engineering are still taking Calc1 or Calc2 although some will start at Calc3 or higher in college.</p>
