AP Calculus AB Test Discussion

but the units were initially miles/minute i thought…

i got like .033333 miles per min^2???

yeah it was velocity, so to find acc you do the derivative… which would make the units miles/min^2?

I also got -.1 miles/min^2

I almost made the same mistake pollocamper haha. Damn you physics.

All of the multiple choice was pretty easy though I probably got two questions wrong. The free response for the non-calculator section was easy also but the free response for the calculator section was hard especially the last one. I would not be surprised if I did not receive any points for #3.

I’m pretty sure I will receive a 5, though.

Lol I got a 5 for sure, i think I missed 5 on MC and only 5C and 6BC on FRQ, but I think I got partials…
Good luck everybody,
my only problem was that when we had to fill in date of birth with pen I wrote todays date instead lol fail…
oh well I crossed it out and put my real B-day under it hopefully it won’t delay my scores… =)
Stop worrying and study for your other exams now guys good luck!

@wille2511- hahaha I know I’m was just a little excited.

I also got -.1 for the acceleration. I put miles/hour^2 though (damn). How much will I lose for that?

what was the total average wait time for the concert one? I think I got .5 hours but that might have been for the individual one which if I’m not mistaken I got like 1.5hours? can’t really remember. lol what did you guys get for that one?

The person who lived closer was Caren? CRAP! I put Larry!

i said CAREN

I thought Larry lived closer? He was 1.6 miles away and Caren was 1.8 miles away. Or am I flipping the two?

Caren went back to get her calculator though. So subtract 0.4 from 1.8 = 1.4

i have a horrible teacher and fell asleep in class for like 1/3 of the year. so i pretty much want to do well enough not to get credit… or at least have my college still require that i take calc, because i got a freaking C/D average for that class… so probably like a 3 and i’ll be very happy.

the last part of the last qns, i was doing some math equation blah and then i was like… OH! and wrote:

OR(underlined twice) look at graph and find blah blah blah…

and i ran out of time doing partA. so i skipped qns 3 and moved to part B, but wrote 4 in where 3 was supposed to be. then i crossed it out and wrote big block letters over it, LOL.

and then number… 4? the last part, we learned it in like the last 15 minutes of class before the exam and i wasn’t paying attention… so i drew a 3D image of the graph. that’s all i remember my teacher doing to find the base whatever thing.

Wasn’t the question in general, though? She doesn’t go back to get her calculator everyday.

it looked like a tick/bug/mite

i thought caren went back for calc hw… but wtv

Wasn’t the question in general, though? She doesn’t go back to get her calculator everyday.
^^^^holy ****, u might be right…but if what u’re saying is true then i bet 75% of the people who did this problem correctly, got it wrong!!!WOW

it doesnt matter if she only went back to get her hw one day…the distance from her home to school is always the same…which should be 1.4

It wouldn’t make a difference because what you’re finding is the distance between her home and the school.

It would make a difference if it was referring to their distance traveled on a daily basis, which, if I remember correctly, was what the question was asking for. It asked “who lives farther from the school?” So, whoever lives farther must travel the greater number of miles.
