What madness is this? We’re just discussing the beauty of Ti-89’s and how voluptuously they can lie tangent to our curves.

semi-circle in #6 frq, anyone remember that trick question in mc about area under curve is 2? was the answer also 2?

I had to settle with the beauty of my TI-83 Plus.

I played Fast Tunnel on my calc in the middle of the first 3 FRQ’s… I just needed a break.

oh and when your writing an integral to find 0 to k, do you use x when writing the function?

@solidsnake961

I know what you’re referring to and I think I put 2 also. wasn’t it like they gave you the area and they asked for the g(2)?

I also have a TI-89! yay for TI-89s!

I love F3.

yea, its like the answer was in the question, they asked said the area in the shaded region was 2 and the question asked to solve the integral in the same region, some people told me they put -2 but I think it should be positive

****.

that concert question, i think I over thought it…

it said to find the # of people AT t=2, so I just plugged in…2…wait…wow, I cannot believe I got that wrong.

Is the curve set at 66 for a 5 or can it go down?

it was a trick question. the answer was -2. it was under the x-axis.

thats so stupid!!! wat mean test writer would write such a trick question???

I put -2 as well since it was under the axis…

bro chill… it’s just calculus.

omg yesss now I remember because the point was (2,-2) right? I totally just looked at 2 and found it’s point on the graph which was -2. haha was that even the right way to do it?

IT’S JUST CALCULUS!!?!?!?! but omg calculus = way of life

there’s this girl in my school who took multivariable in freshmen year.
she scares me so much with her passion for math…

i can’t help but lose confidence on my score as i see this continuous discussion of problems T_T

no lol, it said “area of the shaded region is 2” then it asked for the int(whatever,x,0,2) [sorry for my calculator notation], it was under the x-axis so it was -2.

haha it don’t matter still got the right answer. :)

Wow. I will just say that I’m probably screwed for Calc.
.__.

Non calculator MC was really easy, but I thought the calculator MC was extremely difficult. FR was alright overall…#6 was a bit tough though

Continuity of this discussion! What 3 things must be true?

I always do badly on the non calc MC compared to the calc one, because I’m slow… I omitted 4 on that one, but did all the calc MC and only guessed on one (after eliminating 3 answers).

I thought the FRQ was kind of tricky. I know I got at least a 4, but maybe straddled the line between 4 and 5. Hoping probably a 5? I wish the results came earlier than in 3 months :(
