Hi everyone. I am a math tutor of 30 years and majored in math while at UCLA and have completed the FRQs. I concur with what yeongil got. If anyone has any questions regarding any of the problems please don’t hesitate to ask.
If you use a right Riemann sum, you get no points for part (a) unless the exam scores 1 point for units. You will also probably lose points on part (b) since a right Riemann sum has a different approximation than a left.
If you do not separate variables, then you are correct, ypu score NO points on differential equations problems.

So I’m fairly certain I did FRQ #5 entirely right, however, I messed up my interval notation by using brackets when answering and forgot to use parentheses to indicate that the number is non-inclusive. Will I get points deducted?
What if you explained your answer in part a. was an under approximation?
What if you separate the variables but you do it the wrong way causing you to get the wrong +C value? Would you lose every point or just the answer point?
5 points max on one problem will still give you a 5. I probably got 3 points max on that one (though I got at least 6 points on every other one - probably more for most of them - so even I don’t really have to worry much).
