It's been 48 hours since the exam...yes? About the differential equation one...It was NAILED into my mind after finishing the Barrons prep book, that when we are given one of those it is compulsory to solve for y. I spent literally 15 minutes trying to do that. Yes, VERY foolish, as I realized, after sleeping (because I gave up on it momentarily) that it was indeed the wrong thing to do...and the q was so damned easy if not the easiest out of all the FR...

its been over 48 hours so im going to start discussion on FR....only thing that i can actually remember is the reimann sum question with 5 subintervals on the given chart...i got 19.3

quesce, we had two kids take the BC exam that had spent some time in school studying for it. they probably both will get 5s as well...we just didnt study the parts you dont need for BC so we didnt take it.

bluedevil, i dont remember what i got, but that question was on the bc exam. was the value lower than the actual value? i said it was cuz the graph was concave down and decreasing.

yeah, i put it was an under approximation for the same reasons and b/c it was from the right

98 cum avg in AP Calc all year, and then the AP test happened.

I'm pretty sure I even failed the survey questions...

It was under? Yes! I couldn't remember what the right sum was because we always learned it under the terms of lower and upper sums, so I was freaking out. I just did a lower sum and figured 'what the heck'. That makes me relieved. I don't remember my answer, but I think it was something along those lines.

Mmmmm... Am I in bad shape if I b.s.ed 2 FRQs? I didn't leave anything blank, but I am pretttttyyyy surrreee I got 2 FRQs terribly terribly wrong. :(

It hasn't been 48 hours since the exam ended on the West Coast. Just FYI.

nah, i bsed probably around 5 (parts). just depends on where the points come in, anyways they dont really expect you to get them ALL right.

Are the free response answers up yet?

Oh my gosh!! I just realized I shaded the wrong region for the revolution problem!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH. On the 2003, I got almost all of the nine points on the question like that, and now I'm hoping for like a 3/9 on that one!!!

chisquared,
if you got all the multiple choice right and even if you didnt, u'll be fine. chances are you probably got some points on the free response cuz they give points for like just taking the derivative.

It's up:

Bluedevil-
Same answer here but I was stumped when the next part asked what the Riemann sum integral from 0 to 12 of R'(t) represented. Anyone get that?

the integral of r'(t) is r(t), aka the radius.

Also - are the answers posted anywhere?

yeah im looking for them but i cant find them. if anyone does can u post the link?

They should be here soon enough.

quick question: when people speak of the cutoff for a 5 being "mid-sixties," are they referring to the score out of 108, or a percentage of the total score?
