^ hahaah i agree. I did extremely well all year in Calculus... and knew all my stuff. HAH guess not!

want to start a chat room?

MC - Not bad. Guessed on a couple but left one blank in the non calc.
FR - ***. The only one I got right was the first one. What happened to slope fields?! I was confident after the MC and the first FR. It just went downhill after that first free response.

Sure Bluedevil.

Yeah, MC was decently alright, FR was just bad

lalalla .... OH CRAP

haha basically yeah, I think I stopped at one point for about a minute because I was in shock.

No comment....absolutely no comment about this test....mind going blank

I took Calculus AB online with the Florida Virtual School, but took the test with the rest of my schoolmates that took Calculus online. They all failed, pretty sure of it (almost everyone fails at my school--why I took it online) so the faces of the other students weren't accurate indicators since they were sleeping 6 minutes into the MC.

So here I was, thinking I was going to receive a 5 for sure during the break between MC and FRQ. I was unsure of one question on the non-calc part of the MC, but except for that, I confidently believe I got 90% of the points.

All that confidence was immediately crushed 5 minutes into the FRQ. I got maybe 1/4 of the points. I am hoping for the same thing as everyone else... a mighty curve!

I wonder if any genius thought it was easy? I think if I were given ample time I could finish the FRQ accurately, I was just so nervous when the proctor yelled 10 minutes left. To add to anxiety, a phone in a locked closet was ringing throughout the entire exam.

I actually think I did better in Computer Science A which I've been studying for 2 weeks vs the 8 months for Calculus.

Wow this reassures me. I answered all of them and had some idea what I was doing, but FR was the hardest thing ever.

I thought MC was pretty good for me. FR was soooo hard! I had no idea how to do like any of them. AHHHHHHHHHH! I thought for a second I was taking the BC test or something!

I got a four on the 2003 practice, but I'm expecting a 3 because of FR

chatroom on aol... AP CALC

Okay I just realized my fingers still smell like the test booklets even after washing them..

i think a chatroom woud be a good idea!

I got a really high 5 on the 2003 practice, but I'll be happy with a 3 or 4 on this one.

can someone invite me, bandosrock529, my computer is being stupid.

chatroom - AP CALC on aol

Agree with everyone so far. Thought the MC was pretty easy (although on practice tests, I've been making lots of stupid mistakes, but that's because I didn't bother checking). Then I got to the FRQ, and I wanted to give up.

Well, not exactly. I left no parts blank, but there were two parts that I didn't finish, and who knows how well I did on the other FRQs, since I didn't get time to check. I agree. This year's FRQs were much harder than ones previously given on the AB exam. I've been doing practice tests from several years back too, and none of them seemed this hard.

I omitted 2 and worst-case scenario is 40 MC. FR was unbelievably tedious. I made several stupid mistakes. Good thing partial credit is awarded.

Multiple choice was rough. A group of 35 kids all laughed at once when we received the second section....It was that bad.The proctors kept wondering why we looked so beaten and confused lol. Out of 35 kids, 15 received consistent 5s 18 received 4s and 2 got 3s on our practice tests. We all were dumbfounded by this. Teachers who deserve recognition for student achievement will NOT receive it because of this test. Unfair for all...hope collegeboard is listening.

the free response
was stunning

i was in shock for hours
about the difficulty

im still kind of in shell shock
