I wrote the digital AP Calculus BC this year. And I really really struggled with time on the free-response section of the exam. I took several practice tests, and time was never an issue then. I just wanted to know if others faced this issue too?
oh my goodness yes. i took the calc bc exam online this year and especially with the 5 rate decreasing to a 38% this year, i’m very nervous about the scores. i did multiple practice exams and received fives but it was so incredibly difficult to write the answers to the free response while computing on paper. i completely agree with you and you’re not the only one
Oh my god, thank you very much. I was incredibly scared, because I was doing consistently well (5s) in practice papers, and did well on the MCQ part too, but the FRQ part just sucked the life out of me.
Also, another thing. I am an international student, so I don’t have any classmates who took the test. If you know anyone who took the test, did they feel the same way too?
i probably left a whole question blank if i remember correctly but be optimistic and remember that you can retake and there are CLEP exams too… also you don’t need a high composite score to get a five something like 66% to get a five
hmm i dont really have that many classmates who took the test virtually but i know a lot who took it on paper and they did fine; it was much more difficult online because of the FRQ format so I have no idea what to expect either but dont worry… all we can do is wait for the scores to come out now; btw where in the world are you located? i go to boarding school with lots of international friends from all over the planet
Yep. Thank you. I am located inIndia!
oh very very cool! well, i wish you the best of luck and the scores shall be released any day now
Yes. Thank you, and wish you the same
