AP Calculus Help?

Hi,
I am planning to take AP Calculus next year but I haven't really decided on whether I'm gonna take Calculus AB or BC. Most of people I know have said that taking Calculus BC is much better, but I'm afraid that I'm not good enough at math to try BC, because BC seems quite challenging to me.

Is there a benefit of taking AP Calculus BC over AB?

Yes there is, taking BC and getting a 4 or 5 will get you credit for Calculus I and II in college. It tests more material but the difficulty of material that is also taught in AB is the same because both exams share questions.

Have you taken Trigonometry and/or Pre-Cal? If so you can do AB be sure. If you have like a high SAT Math score like at least 700 then you can do BC.

Also, have you heard of the SAT Subject Test Math Level 2 exam? Its basically a test that covers Pre-Cal. If you do good at that test I think you will do well in AP Calculus BC.

I am taking pre-calculus this year so I really hope I will be good enough to take AP next year. I haven’t taken the SAT but I’ve done practice tests before. I think I got 730~760 on the practice tests.

Yes, I’ve heard of the subject test and I’m planning to take that this year.
Okay, it seems that taking Calculus BC will help me more. Thank you :)
