Do I need anything other than my AP score report to receive credit?
My teacher for AP Chem was very insistent that we keep good, neat lab reports because they were apparently needed to receive credit.

No.

If you designated GT as a receiving school when you took the examination, they will have already received your grade. When & if you go to a FASET session (or when registering for classes), GT will give you a listing of those AP examinations where you received the required score to obtain credit.

As I am sure you already know, in order to receive credit for Chemistry, you will need to have received a “5” on the exam.

Good luck.

I can’t imagine any school that would go through lab reports to assign AP credit. That would take an immense amount of manhours, unless it was an extremely small school (now that I think about it, I could see some of the small LAC’s doing something like that).

In response to post above, in fact, my AP physics teacher also insist that we keep a good lab notebook because he said that many colleges would like to see labs in order to give out credit. And I am from a public school of 1600 kids total. Maybe because we have a double period.

Also even though it is suggested that I take physics, I would most likely use my two 5s in physics to get ahead. BTW I will major in EE.
