AP CHEM Results

Ugly disgusting test...

how did everyone do....

mine was pretty bad.not a 1 or 2 though for me ....hehe

I got an A in the course, but I just hate chemistry!!!!!

SCREW TITRATIONS!

i didn't like titrations and all the acid/bases stuff... agree with you on that one.

acid bases are the worst thing to study for this test...

and I HATED THE NEW REVAMPED EQUATIONS...

Like ***, just tell me to finish 7 equations, don't tell me to explain them!

I got a 5, and I thought the test was in an easier format than previous ones...I liked having easier equations with explanations/questions about them rather than having to determine reactants and products that can be special cases/obscure.

I thought acid/base/titration was difficult too though...but at least that really wasn't on the test :-)

i was so glad that acid/base thing wasn't in the FRQs. i totally didn't understand how to do the buffer stuff at all.
yea for gas equilibrium.

i got a 5.

i thought the test was really easy actually. i had an awesome teacher though.

i got a 4 :-) really wanted to get a 5, but am so content with it...worked so much in that class

actually, i wished that there was an acid/base FRQ because i was really good at them, but the reactions were pure hell (sry for my lang.) - or just that was stressed out :P

but the test wasn't as bad as what i thought it was going to be.

Got the 4. My teacher had a funny voice. Mind you, i had him for honors chem as well--so:

I learned nothing for two straight years of chem from him. I just laughed. I did study using 5 steps to 5 and did some practice tests. Once I tell him I got a 4 he's gonna have a heart attack.

ha.

I had a fantastic teacher. Gave us a list of 200+ reaction predictions from previous tests and a lot of practice problems/tests, and he repeated stuff ad nauseum (especially the acid/base/buffer stuff because few of us really got it) - I barely touched the PR review book and I got an easy 5.

I got a 5. All of our tests during the school year in AP Chem were pulled from old MC sections. It didn't matter if we'd covered that topic or not. So, I thought the MC section was really easy. I hated the equations on the FRQ and guessed on every single one. But, I LOVE Equilibrium, especially the type that was on the test.

I was really shocked with my 5! I was expecting a 3 or 4.

Got a 4, and I'm very happy with it. Chem was the single hardest class I took last year, so it makes me very happy. Quite fulfilling.

got a 5, really glad acids/bases and titrations werent in FRQs. HATED the equations like everyone else. Had a really good teacher, finished a month in advance and spent almost all of April/May on practice tests and MC questions. I think we did every problem in the Sample Questions Section on CB.com

Got a 5.

I felt really good about the test... Props to my teacher.

Got a 5.

I was actually extremely mad that they didn't have a titration question as usual. Thing is, I made this truly epic program for my ti-89 that could autosolve almost any aspect of any buffer question, and even show you the work you need to show to get full credit. This thing took me the better part of two weeks to make, only to find out it was worthless. I distributed it to some of my pals in the class, and I got one of those "looks" when they noticed that their little cheat was worthless.

One more thing. For all of the parts of the FR that were basically "explain why x occurs," apparently I got the answer completely wrong, but my reasoning was completely sound. Go figure.

I got a 5, even though I stated that the symbol for potassium was "P" on one of the FR questions. I guess that just goes to show you how valid the test is.

5

:) :) :) :) :)

5, was looking forward to acid/base and was then surprised by the gas problem.

[@TheJuggler] lol I'm completely the opposite. Since solubility was the equib question on the practice test, my teacher was 150% sure that on the actual AP test, it would be an acid-base question.
So...we spent a week doing solely acid-base review questions, and we were all like 500% [loving the exaggerations] confident about at least one FRQ.

[On test day...]
Open up the free response booklet...gas equilibrium, what the heck? We'd never covered that, and there wasn't an acid-base anywhere ON the free-response section -_-
I still got a 5, but my classmates did horribly...

Ohh...and I was surprised that there weren't ANY solubility or ICE charts [that's what we called them...equilibrium charts, I guess] anywhere on the exam.
A little dissapointed...the two major things our class studied for were acid/base & solubility, and of course, they were practically nonexistant on the test xD

got a 3, but i was one of the three to pass in my class.....the class before mine got all 1's except for one kid who got a 2
