AP Chem score vs. SAT II Chem score

I somehow got a 3 on my AP Chem exam and a 780 on my Chem SAT. Would the SAT score somewhat make up for the terrible AP score? Does this chem AP score basically deny me entrance to most ivy leagues?

I’m pretty sure that you dont submit your AP scores until after you send in your application. I heard that somewhere

That’s weird, I got a 5/740. I don’t think the AP score will affect your admission, but I probably wouldn’t submit it.

I got AP: 4, SAT2: 800. I have same question as OP.

AP scores carry little to no weight in the college admissions process IMO; they are mostly used for credit and/or placement.
