AP chem

How hard is chem compared to say Physics B? I got a 4 on the B exam this year and since my school isnt offering C next year I was thinking of taking chem. The problem is Ive never taken a chem course previous to this. So I was wondering how difficult chem would be w/o previos knowledge of the topic?

Ummm let me put into persepective with my experiences with both, I had a wonderful teacher for Physics, though she had a heavy Kuwaiti accent, but knew her stuff, though she really couldn't infuse any of that information into me, so other than mechanics I felt like I knew no other concepts. As for chemistry, I had to self-study it because our teacher burned two students in a lab though for some reason I put it up reasonably better though obviously I didn't know if I was doing everything correctly because only I knew what I capable of, but anyway, so I ended up with a five on both, each one leaving the test I knew I passed but I didn't think I did so well, so I'm convinced that I did a good job with teaching myself in chemistry and got lucky for physics, so, to make this long story short, you should definitely go with chemistry, for the most part the concepts aren't to heavy [as compared to physics which gets me totally lost] though I would put the tests as equally difficult if that gives you an idea. As to not having previous knowledge, hmmm, I don't know how that would go since I nonetheless did have an honors chem class before this one, though we didn't get very far [stoichiometry, since our teacher was worried with burdening us, and would later put it into high gear for the AP kids], but yes it's possible, I mean I know this isn't the same but I took physics without any prior knowledge. Well I hope that somewhere in this random story that you find some answers, if not, sorry about that, but nonetheless good luck with chemistry if you're going to go that route :D

I got a 4 as a sophomore and never read out of the textbook if that helps.
