Hey guys,
I am going to take the AP chem exam but my class is way behind. I have only been in school for 24 weeks, or 120 days (my school is up north so we start in mid sept, and we have missed a lot of class due to a student's death and exta long vacations). Needless to say we haven't and are not going to cover discriptive chem, such as colors, uses, and part C of the exam (naming reactants and products). Does anyone have any suggestions on how to memorize soubility rules, colors, and what a metaloxide with an acid does etc. I know the types of reactions that can occur, combination etc. but I don't know anything else. Does anyone know some acronyms to help remember this stuff, like LEO the lion says GER, or ROY G BIV? Or any suggestions on a fast way to memeorize this stuff. Thanks for your help, any links would be great as well.
