AP Chemistry grade

This marking period I am almost sure that I am going to get a 78% in AP Chemistry (which in our AP Chemistry grading scale is a B). I really procrastinated this marking period and I wonder if there is any chance that I could get at least a 92% next marking period so I can get an A (84.5% for AP Chemistry in our school) in the semester with thermo-chemistry coming up in the second quarter ( basically the hardest chapter from what I’ve heard). I really don’t want to miss a 4.0 uw GPA and so far AP Chemistry is the only class that may take my chances away.

The link above has great recommendations! Just curious, how does 84.5% translate into an unweighted A? Our school is straight numerical and they only weight for rank. So an AP 90 is same as any other class 90. @Kristian11

The thing is that for some of the hardest APs they lower the average needed for an A (e.x. how in AP Chem you need just an 84.5% for an A). That’s just it. Some APs do that at my school, and some don’t.
