I will be a junior in high school next year and I cant decide what science to take. I am in AP Biology right now and I am getting an A. I plan on taking both chemistry and physics in high school I just wondered which one I should take first? I am really good at math and I have already taken regular chemistry. Also, I dont know what I want to major in. Please Help!

Also, should I take ap calculus AB with Ap physics?

^Yea, I’d take the chem first. I took AP chem as a sophomore, and I’m taking University Physics next year at my local university, alon gwith cell bio. Chem will just introduce you to some more “mathematical” science stuff, so you’re more prepared for Physics. I like Physics way more :P

Lots of people are saying chem but I would prefer to have a more difficult junior year than senior year so thats why I was thinking physics next year?

If you want to take the hardest route, you can take both AP Chemistry and AP Physics, but it’s not a heavy-load so it’s safe to do that.
You can take either, preferably whichever one you are most interested in.
I took BC, Chem, and Physics B my junior year so you can do that too~

I’m taking both. If you haven’t taken physics yet, and you love chem, you should take both as well.

I’ve heard both classes are challenging, but people in my school find AP chem easier because the textbook pretty much tells you how to do anything and everything on the tests so its easier, if you read.

AP calc and AP physics at the same time can help. I heard learning integrals and other AP calc material help in physics. However, there are people that take AP physics right after taking Pre-calculus that have gotten As.
