AP Chemistry/SAT II Chemistry

Anyway I can kill two birds with one stone and study only one book for both tests? If I can, what book should I use?

Barrons will make you more than prepared for both tests. I used it and got a 5 on my exam and 770 on the SAT II if that helps. But, keep in mind that the chem SAT II has some non-multiple choice questions of a wierd format that you might want to familiarize yourself with beforehand using a separate SAT Chemistry Subject Test book. Good luck!

So, the AP Barron's?

I'm not taking the risk. I mean it doesn't take too long to go through a SAT Chem prep book if you're able to withstand the APs right? So just go that way and get a book for each. As for the brand, I'd go for Barrons for both papers since Barrons tends to overprepare (caveats though, overpreparation is not for everyone).

Btw, I'm taking both papers this May and June respectively too.

I can't afford both... trying to find it at a library right now, which is proving to be difficult. Need to narrow this down to one, please.

If you ask me personally, then buy the SAT book. AP Chem has way more online sources. Try this one for example: Chemistry AP Practice

Cheers and good luck.

You should definitely be able to do it. I'm taking AP chem now (took Honors chem two years ago, AP bio last year) and this fall I got an 800 on the SATII just skimming through the review book and taking 2 or so practice exams. If you're actively preparing for the AP exam, you should be able to do well on the SATII too.
