I have AP Physics as of now for next year. However, I noticed that NW gives credit for getting a 3 on the Chem and only a 5 on the Physics.

I am fairly good at Chemistry and better [and like it more] in Physics.

I still don't know if I want to be major in Biology/Chemistry or Engineering.
I was planning on using my classes senior year as a deciding factor before applying. I mighr even take AP Gov && Politics as it also interests me.

I know Chem is preferred though.
HELPPPPPPP I'm 85% sure I will major in Biology.

All these questions even though I probably won't get in, hah.-_-

I chose AP Physics C instead of Chem - physics always interested me more, allowed me to think on a higher level than the Periodic Table. I took AP Physics, had maybe the best teacher (in anything) in the school, and got an A and a 5. The rule of thumb is always take courses in what you like the most because you’ll learn it better and enjoy doing so. I was very good at Chem as well, but the innate appeal just wasn’t there for me.

Who cares if you took AP Physics or AP Chem in high school? Chemistry is not “preferred” - I don’t know where you got that notion, but it’s simply not true. Heck, I’d say from my own experience that Physics is even more rigorous and noteworthy if you can make the grade. Chemistry may serve you better if you were to major in Biology but to repeat myself once again: you’re in high school…who cares? Take what you enjoy more.

Haha I agree, thanks.(:
