AP Chemistry

What is the placement test like? Not the AP test but the placement test to get into the AP class. The only chemistry I have learned is from Physics and Biology.

A lot of schools don’t have one. Mine doesn’t either. You should ask friends who already took the class in your school  Looking over some online notes wouldn’t hurt as well.

Mine does, so what should I look out for? The topic/format could be anything even biology which I have not done for awhile :p

My history placement test was on WWII material because that is what we were learning at the time.

It entirely depends on your school. Each school is different, and some don’t have them at all.

I see. How much Physics and Bio is used in Chemistry?

^Not much if at all.

I just found out it’s going to be multiple choice word problems/some physics.

i took the class, and was raped by the AP test
hahahaha

The only class we have a placement exam for is AP English Language and Composition. I have no idea why we have a placement exam for the easiest class ever.

Based on my AP Chemistry class, however, a placement exam would have been appropriate. (I was the only 5; the majority were 2s and the second highest was a 3).

Apparently it’s word problems and some physics.
