AP Class Choices for 2009 fall.

I'm going to be a senior in the fall, and I'm planning on taking: AP Calc AB, AP Gov't/AP Econ, AP Lang, and AP Art, and just normal bio. I'm torn between AP Art and AP Psych. I'm a novice at photoshop, which is what i will be primarily using for my portfolio, but if I can't do everything, then I was thinking of taking AP Psych. I'm not the most artistic person, but the class is easy if you can muster something up. AP Psych involves memorization, which is fine, because I'm actually interested in the subject. SO what do you guys think?

Your opinions on AP ART v. AP PSYCH?

AP Psych at least at my school has the reputation for being the easiest AP. A lot of my friends got 5’s and didn’t even read their books–they just read the review notes the teacher passed out all semester.

im taking

calc bc
stats
am gov
lit
physics C (prbly M)
psych
env science

I reccomend AP Psychology. Psychology is a really interesting subject, and you’ll do well if you memorize the vocabulary and concepts. ;)

As for the AP Classes I’ll be taking senior year:
AP Statistics, AP Government, AP Microeconomics, AP English Literature, AP European History, AP Human Geography.

This year I took for my Junior year: AP U.S History, AP Eng Comp, AP World History, AP Psychology.

~ Theos

Senior next year

am gov
macro/micro
phy c: e/m
phy c: mech
eng lit
chem
stats
psych

lol. I’m taking apel, gov and apes. I CANNOT WAIT

senior next year

Senior next year! Woot. Class of 2010 (the best class obviously)
AP European History
AP Calculus
AP Spanish (taking test; wasn’t prepared at all this year)
AP English Literature
AP Pyschology
I may take the AP Chemistry test, but I am not sure yet. Anyway, that’s it.

I’d go for Pysch. It sounds amazingly interesting… I’m not an art person anyway. =P

Junior Year:
AP Calc
AP Euro?
AP Micro/Macroecon?

Next year I’m taking AP Euro, AP Psych, AP Macro, and AP Eng Lit. I may not take the test for Euro, depending on how confident I am towards the end of the course. I was also contemplating self-studying for AP US Gov’t and Politics, though I’m not 100% sure about that yet.

Junior Year:
AP Eng. Lit
AP Physics C EM
IB Bio (Year 1 of a 2 year course AP + IB)
IB French SL (2 year course, AP + IB)
APUSH
AP BC Calc
AP Psych

AP:
Spanish (will not take the test)
Physics (boo)
Eng Lit
Euro (will not take the test)
Calc
Bio (independent online study)

Regular:
Mesa (basically study hall and college prep class)

AP Psych sounds like it’d be more interesting than AP Art, but ultimately pick the class that you would most likely enjoy.

AP Calc BC
AP US Gov
AP Chem
Also thinking about dropping Spanish for AP Psychology (But would Ivys frown about not taking 4 years of Spanish?

Senior Year:
Not a lot of AP in my new town (I moved in the middle of junior year)
AP Calc BC
AP Physics C
AP Euro (dual enroll at college)
AP Lit (same as above)
AP Psych (self-study)
AP World or Compative Gov. One of those maybe…

lol Chem is a b****

i’d take ap art and self study for psych. i’m self studying for psych right now, or should be anyway.

2010!
ap english lit.
ap calc ab
ap french
ap euro
anatomy (dual)
political science(dual)

and like some art class just to fill the requirments.

(senior schedule)

calculus II - at local university (school doesn’t offer calc bc =[)
AP us government
AP english literature
AP physics C
AP statistics
AP studio art: drawing
German III honors
criminal justice (online class, just interested in this topic)

this schedule is gonna be so easy compared to my schedule this year!! this is my slacking schedule believe it or not…
AP us history is harder than AP gov
calculus & stats are easy for me and i’ve already gotten the fundamentals down,
and i have the physics fundamentals down from AP physics B this year
and then art…well my school doesn’t offer that many ap classes so it’s art or like ap chem or ap bio (ewww)…so i chose art =]
and english…well i’m in ap english lang this year with a crazy, good teacher who is insane with her grading…so i guess i’m prepared=]

i can’ttt waitt…

and the good thing about next year is that i won’t have to worry about SATs/SATIIs/PSAT!!! yess!!! and the ap tests i take will solely be used toward college credit…as i will already know what college i am going to by the time of registration…so no superfluous studying!! yayyayy!!!1

heyyy … why is ap bio eww?

^ sorry but i don’t like bio or chem (just not my thannnggggg) >__<
bio is like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

bio is like the only science i like.
ap chem and ap physics are just … well no thanks.
everyone in my ap bio class is takin ap chem next year … but eww i’d rather not.

lol and i don’t like memorizing everything about every living thing on earth
