Does grade inflation in a school severely impact admissions?

I think w/ AP classes grade inflation is more apparent b/c AP scores can be compared to grades (that's probably part of the reason why colleges like it so much). However, sometimes students have a percieved discrepancy between class grade and AP score (possibly a sign of grade inflation).

Also, if students come from a grade inflated school, but have done well on the standardized tests (grades of As corresponding to AP scores of 5s and 4s) but other people who come from the same school have stats that show grade inflation (for example, grades of As and Bs with AP scores of 1s and 2s), can that impact the application of the person who has done well both in-class and on the test?
