AP Class Grade vs. AP Score

So I just found out I got a 5 on my AP Calculus AB exam. The funny thing is that I got a C my first semester of class.

How do you think my C will be viewed when they see that I got a 5 on my AP exam?

When did AP grades come out?

Yesterday (I think), by phone.

Here's the thing, many colleges don't even ask for your AP scores, so the C will be as is. Your C will be viewed the same way it might be for a different class, and will not be given any special treatment because the Calculus exam does have one of the most generous curves (AB and BC).

Well, now the new common application has a space to self-report AP exam scores.

Right, but they're not necessarily going to take the time to look at your AP exam score then your class grade and compare and think about it.

They will think that either your school is really hard (and glance at the school profile submitted by your guidance counselor) or that you are a slacker.

^ agree with above
